PURPOSE:To decrease slide resistance without deterioration in resistance to wear, by selecting physical nature of a ceramic sintered material by which a seat ring and a driven ring are formed. CONSTITUTION:At least the slide surface of either ring of a seat ring 11 or a driven ring 12 is formed by a porous ceramic sintered material in a solid state in the ratio of 50-94% compared with that of a material in a complete solid state. Since the slide surface is in a relatively coarse state, van der Waals absorption is decreased, and the ring is easy to slide. Even if wear powder is dropped from the ceramic sintered material during sliding, the wear powder is rapidly held in pores to prevent damage of resistance to wear. |
