PURPOSE:To facilitate the partial enlargement of stored original data, the composition of plural originals, etc., by providing a processing command setting part, an image processing part which fetches original data from a memory part according to its setting output and performs image processing, and a projection part where image data from the image processing part is projected. CONSTITUTION:Characters, graphic forms, etc., of originals to be projected on a screen 7 are read by an original reading part 1 according to pages and then outputted after being converted into a binary or multilevel signal, which is stored in a memory part 2 so that page-by-page retrieval is possible. Commands for the selective specification, partial enlargement, composition, etc., of originals to be projected are sent out to the processing command processing part 4 by operating function keys of a command indication part 3. The image processing part 5 reads original data out of the memory part 2 according to those pieces of processing information and processes image data on each page, partially enlarged image data, and composite image data on plural pages to transfer the resulting data to the projection part 6, where a desired original is projected. Consequently, originals themselves are used as projection original images and partial enlargement projection and composite projection of plural originals are performed by extremely easy operation.
