摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent a Venturi from being affected by dynamic pressure due to running air even in case an engine is set to an idle running state in driving at a high speed, by installing a valve in the upstream of a carburetor Venturi, while closing this valve at the time of idle running. CONSTITUTION:A valve 19 is installed in an inlet 12 at the upstream of a carburetor Venturi 13 rotatably around a fulcrum 20, and this valve is opened or closed by an actuator 21. On the other hand, a port 26 taking out throttle suction pressure at the time of idling is installed in the downstream of a throttle valve 15, and this port is interconnected to a suction pressure 24 of a diaphragm 22 constituting the actuator 21. Now, in running at a high speed, if such driving as making an engine into an idling state is carried out, the throttle valve 15 is in the idling state so that throttle suction pressure out of the port 26 acts on the suction pressure chamber 24, closing the valve 19. With this constitution, even if dynamic pressure due to running air of a car is produced in the inlet 12, it is cut off by the valve 19, thus its transmission to the Venturi 13 is well reduced.
