The invention relates to a device for cleaning and dewatering moved flat-shaped webs which are used as aids for forming and dewatering flat paper structures. The application of the invention has the aim of avoiding discharge losses from the pipeline system. The object is, by a suitable construction of the device, to close the pipeline system above the processing machine in such a manner that the kinetic energy of the flowing medium is additionally available again at the conditioning apparatus. This is achieved in that the pipeline system above the processing machine and the box-shaped devices which are provided with seals is closed with respect to the surroundings at the flat-shaped, moved web.
