PURPOSE:To decrease the number of program environment descriptions and to facilitate alteration by storing a model program environment description body and a program environment description body consisting of its alternation part in a directory and merging them during execution. CONSTITUTION:A PED (Program Environment Description) command expansion processing part 1 takes the model of a PED command out on the basis of an inputted PED name and generates the information frame of an operand phrase. When an information frame judging part 2 detects the presence of the information frame, a model PED name extracting part 3 extracts the model PED name of the operand and passes it to the PED command expansion processing part 1, which carries on the expansion. When all information frames are handled, a merging processing part 4 for information frames expands the PED commands of a base on an up-to-date information frame and then overwrites PED information successively to output a completely expanded and merged environmental definition body lastly.
