<p>PURPOSE:To detect a minute amount of boron trichloride without receiving obstruction due to hydrogen chloride gas and chlorine gas, by using a detection agent prepared by supporting 1,1'-diantrimide and sulfuric acid by a carrier. CONSTITUTION:A detection agent of boron trichloride is prepared by supporting 1,1'-diantrimide and sulfuric acid by a carrier. As sulfuric acid, conc. sulfuric acid is used in general and there is no special limit in the ratio of conc. sulfuric acid and 1,1'-diantrimide. As the carrier, a grayish white, white or transparent one is utilized. Thus obtained detection agent shows the color of the carrier itself or light green prior to the contacted with boron trichloride, a complex is formed and the color phase thereof is changed to a blue color.</p> |
