PURPOSE:To shorten the machining time by minimizing the load on the table and setting a fast feeding speed within the allowable range of positioning accuracy. CONSTITUTION:Assuming that the driving system such as ball screws is fixed, the inertia J2 of the mobile object increases with the increase in the weight W of the mobile object. The rigidity K as the positioning system is improved at the same time due to rationalized design, allowing the maximum value W1 in the allowable range for the inertia J2 for the yardstick. Furthermore, change in the positional accuracy due to increase in the weight of the mobile object W vanishes on the other side of the point of inflection. In other words, high rigidity due to increase in weight brings about an improvement in positional accuracy, but up to a certain limit. Therefore, the load weight on the table is limited to a minimum within the allowable range of positional accuracy. Next, a high feeding speed is set in accordance with the time constant T2 to perform machining. Thus, the total machining time is shortened. |
