PURPOSE:To provide a sealing tape having a sealing effect stably over a long period of time and suitable for use in making parts where members in contact with each other move relatively, waterproof or moistureproof, by laminating an unexpanded layer of a paste material onto a tape substrate. CONSTITUTION:A paste material obtd. by blending clay mineral (e.g. montmorillonite) contg. interlayer water with a binder composed of a hydrophilic polymer adhesive is molded into a tape which is then dried at 95 deg.C or below. Said tape-form paste material 2 which can be expanded in a short time by heating at 110 deg.C or above is laminated onto a tape substrate 1 to form an unexpanded layer. |
