New hybrid trp E-somatostatin 14 polypeptide

Plasmid vector for expression in Escherichia coli of a hybrid polypeptide (I) and contg. a trp E homologous sequence and a heterologous sequence is new. The entire trp E regulatory system of promoter, operator, trp leader and trp attenuator is present. It is esp. plasmid pSP4. - Plasmids pSP2 or 3 and pSP2de1 are new. Hybrid trp E-SS14 polypeptide (II) having a defined sequence of 347 amino acid residues is new.
