<p>A liquid-filled electric radiator has, preferably on its rear side (2) a bent pipe (5) intended for an electric immersion heating element. The pipe limbs (6, 7) are in communication with the radiator collection duct (4) and distribution duct (3) respectively. The electric element is disposed in the limb (6) and thus heats liquid flowing in from the collection duct. The heated liquid rises through the limb (7) and into the distribution duct. There is thus obtained good convection in the radiator, thereby obtaining the good comfort properties normally ascribed to a water radiator in a central heating installation, and the good properties ascribed to radiators heated directly by electricity.</p> |
