PURPOSE:To exterminate sanitary insect pests in a room, by blending an insecticide with azodicarbonamide, heating the blend indirectly so that azodicarbonamide is thermally decomposed without being burned, and the insecticide is fumigated with the decomposed gas in a short time in a concentrated way. CONSTITUTION:An insecticide such as allethrin, pynamin forte, etc. is blended with <=about 1/2 - about30pts.wt., preferably about 1-20pts.wt. based on the insecticide of azodicarbonamide, the blend is indirectly heated, azodicarbonamide is thermally decomposed without causing combustion, the insecticide is fumigated by the action the decomposed gas, a large amount of the insecticides is vaporized instantly, effectively in a wide area, so that insect pests are exterminated without substantially causing smoking, problems of toxicity, irritating smell and fear of fire.
