PURPOSE:To dispense with a long cylinder type socket to be taken out of an output shaft center as well as to aim at the promotion of miniaturization in a device and of reduction in the number of stages of work, by taking out torque to be produced on the circumference of an output gear directly with the socket installed on the circumference of a tooth part engaging with this gear. CONSTITUTION:After engaging a geared clamping socket 36 with a lock nut 13 where a work 8 is temporarily clamped, it is set to the specified position of a work set table 14, making a gear of the socket 36 engage an output gear 4, and an air cylinder 31 is set in motion, and when a wedgelike member 30 is made to go up together with a rod 32, each rear end part of keep handles 24, 25 is expanded wide along the form of the member 30, and simultaneously the end part becomes narrow in a clamping set state, thereby pressing the socket 36 toward the output gear 4, whereby engagement is maintained as overcoming such force that the engagement is dissociated by torque. Thus, in a state that the work 8 is held down, when a shutoff runner 2 is operated, adding the troque to the lock nut 13 and reaching to the specified torque, the runner 2 stops automatically, thus a clamping action is finished at few stages in number with a small device. |
