PURPOSE:To provide the titled frit having high melt dispersibility in a color feeder and high opal white coloring capacity to base glass by consisting the same of specifically composed P2O5, Na2O, SiO2, Al2O3, Li2O and B2O3. CONSTITUTION:55-88wt% P2O5, 12-30wt% Na2O, 0-30wt% SiO2, 0-20wt% Al2O3, 0-10wt% Li2O and 0-20wt% B2O3 are compounded and melted to form glass. The high P2O5-contg. frit suitable for production of homogeneous opal white glass within the limited melting conditions in the color feeder is thus obtd.
