PURPOSE:To enhance the protection of passengers during running of a vehicle having a vehicle body section in the rear of a drive cabin, which is covered with an awning, by providing an inverse L-shape pipe between the upper part of the rear section of the drive cabin and the rear vehicle body section at each side of the vehicle body. CONSTITUTION:An inverse L-shape pipe 5 is laid and secured at each side of a vehicle body such that the upper end of a roll bar 4 disposed in the rear section of a drive cabin 2 and the rear end of a rear vehicle body section 3 are connected together. Further, when an awning fabric 20 is stretched, one end section of an awning frame 18 is inserted into a hole 19 formed in the pipe 5, and the awning fabric 20 attached to the awning frame 18 is stretched by a fabric piece 21 in a Fretch seam condition, and is secured at the front end thereof to the roll bar 4 by means of hooks which are not shown. When the awning 20 is folded up, the awning frame 18 is pulled out from the hole 19 and the pipes are assembled at the rear end. With this arrangement, it is possible to aim at making passengers safe. |
