A traffic sign is proposed, which has an inscription or a symbol on at least one side. The traffic sign consists of plastic or metal and possibly has reflecting properties. The traffic sign according to the invention is characterised in that it serves as an optical warning device for drivers driving in the wrong direction at entrances to and exits from motorways. It is envisaged for fastening on a road crash barrier. Fastening is carried out in the holes present on the reinforcement rib of the road crash barrier. It is of particular significance that the traffic sign consists of two interconnected wings which are located at an angle to one another and are arranged in an approximately V-shaped manner in cross-section. The traffic sign is further characterised in that at least one fastening tab, formed in one piece on the traffic sign, with a fastening hole for fastening on the road crash barrier is present. |
