A mixing device for output-increasing additives for a combustion engine is located in the intake channel of the combustion engine in order to inject different liquid and/or gaseous additives into the engine's normal air/fuel mixture. The device is designed as a separate unit and has at least one plate, which houses the mixing device (10) and is perpendicular to the intake channel (8); one or more feed channels (11-14) that are formed in the plate for the supply of additive, are intended for a specific additive and lie in a plane that is perpendicular to the intake channel (8) and extends along at least two (11, 12) of the intake channel's (8) smooth side walls; and at least two (but preferably four) nozzles (17, 18) situated between each feed channel (11, 14) and the engine intake channel (8) and used for supplying additive from the feed channel in question (11, 12) to the air/fuel mixture.The plate houses through holes or nozzle seats for the injection nozzles (17, 18). The nozzle body at the end facing the side edge of the plate is equipped with a groove or the like for use of tools to install or remove the nozzle body from the outside of the plate.<IMAGE> |
