<p>PURPOSE:To simplify a preparation device and to improve the precision of preparation and the yield by a constitution wherein common electrodes confronting each other and picture element electrode groups are formed dividedly on each upper and lower electrode plate. CONSTITUTION:A picture element electrode group 10a and a common electrode 10b are formed on an upper electrode plate 10, whereas a picture element elec trode group 11a and a common electrode 11b are also formed on a lower elec trode plate 11. The upper 11 and lower electrode plates 11 are arranged to face oppositely, and a liquid crystal 12 is packed between both electrodes. The picture element electrode group 10a formed on the upper electrode plate 10 is arranged to confront the common electrode 11b formed on the lower electrode plate 11, and the picture element electrode group 11a formed on the lower electrode plate 11 is arranged simultaneously to confront the common electrode 10b formed on the upper electrode plate 10. The substrates for the upper 10 and lower electrode plates 11 comprise transparent insulating material such as glass, and the picture element electrode groups 10a, 11a, and common electrodes 10b, 11b comprise transparent metallic material such as ITO.</p> |
