PURPOSE:To remove the noise component of a hologram grating plate of a reflection type, to increase an aspect ratio and to improve moisture resistance and ease of handling by providing an antireflecting layer to a recording medium so that the light for recording does not arrive at a base layer. CONSTITUTION:The recording medium 10 is made of the 4-layered structure consisting of the base layer 10A, a grating forming layer 10B, an antireflecting layer 10C and a hologram recording layer 10D. The rugged record is obtd. on the layer 10D if the medium 10 is developed after light L, L1 are irradiated thereto in a manner as to generate grating-shaped interference fringes in a hologram recording stage. A mask M is then diagonally deposited by evaporation thereon from the diagonal direction and in succession, the layer 10C and the layer 10D are subjected to reactive ion etching. The medium is thereafter subjected to a lift off stage for vertical vapor deposition of the metal M' again, then the layer 10C and the layer 10D are removed. A protective film layer 10G is deposited by vapor deposition after the layer 10B is subjected to the reactive ion etching. |
