PURPOSE:To stably accmulate sheets in an apparatus constructed so that sheets nipped by a pair of rollers and sequentially transported are held between blades of an impeller, and the sheets are accumulated by rotation of the impeller by overlapping the paired rollers in such a manner as to face inside from the outer peripheral edge of the impeller. CONSTITUTION:The above device suitable for an automatic cash dealing apparatus has accumulating means including an impeller 54 for receiving and storing bills B transported by transport means having rollers 58, 59. The impeller 54 has a plurality of bill receiving and storing blades 54A fixed at equal spaces, whereby the bills B nipped and transported between the rollers 58, 59 are rotated and transferred while being received and stored between the blades 54, and at a point of time the bill is brought into contact with a stopper 47, the bill is separated from the impeller 54 to be accumulated in a lower storing portion. In this arrangement, the pair of rollers 58, 59 are overlapped in such a manner as to face inside of the outer peripheral edge of the impeller, and its peripheral speed is set larger than that of the impeller 54. |
