PURPOSE:To provide reliable and early thread cut processing according to a method wherein a thread receiver and a cutter are activated by means of a signal for winding a thread a roller together with repetitive operation of the cutter and then the cutter is stopped by a signal showing completion of thread cutting. CONSTITUTION:A thread 1 is wound up by a winding device through a receiving roller 2. A sensor 11 is provided to detect when the thread 1 has been wound about the receiving roller 2. A cutter 13 to cut the thread 1 is mounted at a point before it reaches the receiving roller 2. A receiving device 14 for continuously receiving the thread 1 is located in upper coarse from the cutter 13. A second sensor 15 is provided after the cutter 13 to detect when the thread 1 is cut. With this arrangement, the signal output from the sensor 11 starts operation of the receiving device 14 and cutter and after repetitive operation of the cutter 13, the signal from a sensor 15 stops the cutter 3, thus a thread cut process being executed. |
