PURPOSE:To eliminate to set up a scaffolding so as to improve the inspection efficiency where mobile trucks are utilized within a large diameter pipe by coupling numbers of mobile trucks, which are capable of running to the oblique direction keeping their heading as required where the heading of magnetic rollers can be changed. CONSTITUTION:Numbers of mobile trucks which are jointed together, are arranged circumferentially within a pipe where magnetic rollers 5K come in contact with the inner surface of the pipe. And the end of an extension rod 9 which is arranged every one another on the back of the mobile truck, is installed on a center board 10. Numbers of mobile trucks, which are required to form an one complete set of mobile robots, are inducted into the pipe allowing them to form a ring in a form of touching internally the inner surface of the pipe. Then, power cylinders 3a and 4a attached to extension coupling joints 3 and 4 of each mobile truck 1 is allowed to operate permitting a pressing force to be exerted on each of the coupling joints 3 and 4. This allows the ring to exhibit a bridging effect. In addition, the extnesion rod 9 is permitted to extend connecting itself with the center board. This allows a pressing force to be exerted on the inner surface of the pipe from the back side of the mobile truck. |
