PURPOSE:To reduce grinding/polishing/cleaning unevenness and the time required for the process enormously by switching a rotating direction to the reverse in direction grinding/polishing/cleaning process. CONSTITUTION:A rotating direction of a work 1 is switched from the normal direction to the reverse direction in a grinding/polishing/cleaning process. By this switching, incidence power B having operated as a deterrent power for the normal rotation is made to act on the work 1 as a promoting power following the reverse rotation to make the state such that a part of the work very slightly machined by grinding/polishing/cleaning tool in normal rotation is sufficiently machined by said tool to reverse rotation, and vice versa. As the result, grinding/polishing/cleaning unevenness do not occur, and the time required for this process can be reduced.
