PURPOSE:To perform alignment quickly and correctly by judging front/back and up/down via detecting direction mark deviated from the center line between edge marks provided in detecting area on an article in an aligning device of bagged packs or the like. CONSTITUTION:Linear edge marks Me1-Me4 are provided at four corners of an article 2, and a direction mark Md is provided at a position displaced by DELTA(1) from a center line between edge marks Me1, Me2 and Me3, Me4. Figure (a) shows a normal condition, and Figures (b), (c), (d) show reversed front and back or up and down conditions respectively. These article conditions are monitored by a video camera 12 on an index table 3, and the attitudes are judged by a judging circuit. Based on this result, when articles on the index table 3 reach release conveyors 17 corresponding to their attitudes they are released and distributed to twist conveyors 18a-18d for respective attitudes. According to this constitution, articles can be aligned quickly and correctly. |
