PURPOSE:To perform assembling work quickly and easily by marking a compressor case with reference to preset rotary phase of crank shaft then matching said mark with another mark preset on fuel injection pump and coupling them. CONSTITUTION:When applying on 6-cylinder Diesel engine, a rear plate 11 is mounted onto the working table 12 under the condition where the positioning holes 13... are fitted to the knock pins 14... projected from the upper face. Then an air-compressor 17 is secured through stud bolts 19 to said rear plate 11 and the rotary shaft of the compressor 17 is fixed to such rotary angle as corresponding with the rotary phase of crank shaft against the compressor casing 18. Then a mark 34 to be matched with the mark 33 on the pump casing 32 is marked to the casing 18 through making zig 35 couplable with said rotary shaft thus to assemble the injection pump 31 while matching said marks 33, 34.
