PURPOSE:To continuously grind drills of the same length, diameter, and kind however many they may be if an angle of a dial ring is once set by providing the dial ring inserted into the drill and set in a concentric manner with the drill. CONSTITUTION:A movable table 15 having transverse and longitudinal tables 9, 11 put slidably transversely and longitudinally thereon is provided on a fixed table 7. In addition, the tables 9, 11 are operated transversely and longitudinally with a single operation of an operating lever 37 fitted to an automatically adjusted bearing 33 for facilitating positional adjustment of a drill 47. Moreover, angles of rotation of a housing 45 and a holder shaft 49 are freely determined with the aid of a gripper ring 50 and an angle setting plate 59, whereby copying grinding in response to a shape of a cutting edge can accurately by assured. Furthermore, determining a stop position of the drill 47 by turning a dial ring 73 fitted to an outer periphery of the drill while allowing said turning of the dial ring to correspond to a reference scale 65, the drill after being ground at that position can be stopped, upon being ground at another position, at a scale position corresponding to said another position for permitting the drill to be accurately ground at each position of grinding. |
