For mounting balance weights on a motor vehicle wheel, a wheel rim 1 including wheel nave 2, rim well 3 and rim flange 4 is used wherein a continuous, outwardly opening groove 10 for accommodating the balance weights 20 is formed in the region of the rim flange intermediate rim well and wheel nave. This groove and the balance weights optionally disposed therein are camouflaged by an annular cover 30 that is adapted to be releasably clamped to the wheel rim via projection 34. Matching balance weights are configured as annular segments 20 adapted to be secured inside the groove. |
