PURPOSE:To pierce accurately plural holes each having a set diameter in a base material by piercing holes each having a smaller diameter than the set diameter in the base material by chemical milling, inputting data on the set diameter into a machine tool having a numerical control function, and enlarging the holes to the set diameter with the machine tool. CONSTITUTION:Many small holes each having a smaller diameter than a set diameter are pierced in a base material such as stainless steel by chemical milling with an etching soln. such as a mixed soln. contg. ferric chloride and nitric acid. Data on the set diameter are inputted into a machine tool having a numerical control function, and the holes are enlarged to the set diameter with the machine tool.
