PURPOSE:To permit to carry out the control of the stepless speed change gear based on the rotating speed of an output side rotary shaft without any trouble by detecting the rotation of the output side rotary shaft based on a vehicle speed signal upon the trouble of a rotation sensor. CONSTITUTION:The rotating speed of the output side rotary shaft 24 is operated based on the vehicle speed signal SV selected by a signal selecting circuit 70 even when a trouble related to the output shaft rotation sensor 60 is generated. According to this constitution, the control of the stepless speed change gear 14, a speed change ratio control based on the setting of an objective rotating speed and the tension control of a transmission belt 20 may be effected without any trouble. Accordingly, the speed change ratio of the stepless speed change gear 30 may be adjusted in the same manner as a normal driving operation in which they are connected. |
