PURPOSE:To form an optical information recording medium suitable for execution of recording, reproduction and erasure by incorporating three elements; Sb, Sc and Bi into the information recording medium. CONSTITUTION:The recording, reproduction and erasure are executed by using the optical information recording medium contg. the three elements; Sb, Sc and Bi. The absorptivity increases from <=10% to >=50% and the heating is made possible by a semiconductor laser if Bi is incorporated as a light absorptive material into the material consisting of Sb and Sc. The information recording medium consisting of such three elements permits recording and erasure. The mixing ratio of Sb with Sc of 10-80atom% is usable at which the large change of the optical characteristics is obtd. by heating. The mixing ratio of Bi with the compd. of Sb and Sc is adequately 5-40atom%. The adequate compsn. is therefore, x=6-76, y=12-86, z=5-45 by atom% as SbxScyBiz. |
