PURPOSE:To properly set the replacement of a filter element, by measuring the negative pressure in a filter element case and determining the clogging state of a filter proportional to the measured value and operating an alarm at the time of clogging. CONSTITUTION:Dust-containing air enters a filter element 8 from the air passing port 9 thereof and dust is collected by a pleat like filter material 11 while purified air is exhausted out of the machine by a blower. When dust is adhered to the pleat like filter material and clogging is generated, a filter case is brought to negative pressure and the thin wall part of the case generates deformation and a strain detection element 3 deforms to increase a resistance value while the increased resistance value is sent to a comparing circuit, a memory circuit and an alarm circuit to detect the clogging of the filter.
