PURPOSE:To correct the temperature relying property of a high-sensitivity photosensitive body and to stabilize the charged potential of the photosensitive body, by increasing the quantity of the light having a wavelength of >=6,200Angstrom out of the lights simultaneously irradiated from two light sources as the temperature of the photosensitive body drops. CONSTITUTION:Light having a peak wavelength of <=6,000Angstrom and light having a peak wavelength of >=6,200Angstrom are simultaneously or successively irradiated upon a photosensitive body 1 from light sources 7 and 8, respectively. The quantity of the light from the light source 7 is set 5-10 times larger than the half-value exposing quantity of the photosensitive body 1 and the quantity of the lights from the light source 8 is changed within a range 0.1-10 times larger than the half-value exposing quantity in accordance with the surface temperature of the photosensitive body. Therefore, the temperature relying property of the high-sensitivity photosensitive body can be corrected and the charged potential of the photosensitive body can be stabilized. |
