In the case of the switch contact design according to the invention, the contacts (15a, 17b) (which are normally closed or switched into the conductive state) of a monostable tumbler switch are produced from a base metal and are plated with a noble metal, while the contacts (15b, 17a) (which are normally open or are switched into the non-conductive state) are essentially produced from a noble metal, such as silver.
