PURPOSE:To save a toner, and to form an image whose color balance is good, by executing a comparing operation with respect to information of plural colors are different from each other, arithmetic processing and correcting image data based on its result, and forming a latent image. CONSTITUTION:Signals Yi-Bi for showing each density value of yellow (Y), magenta (M), cyan (C) and black (B) are inputted to an operation processing part by scannin a multi-color original. An operating part executes a comparing operation by equations with respect to information of plural colors, derives converted density values Yo-Bo and stores them in memories My-Mb. In the equations, min(Yi, Mi, Ci) denotes data for showing the minimum density value in three color data Yi-Ci. An electrostatic charge image is formed by inputting this memory value to an exposing system, it is convered to a developed image by toner development at every color, and it is transferred and fixed. In this way, a toner is saved, and a color image which is well-balanced is obtained. |
