PURPOSE:To obtain a high resolution and accurate and stepping motor by disposing m pieces of salient pole teeth on the outer periphery of a rotor yoke of small outer diameter, opposing them with P-phase stator main poles, and uniformly disposing pm pieces of salient pole teeth in the large outer diameter. CONSTITUTION:Dipolarized circular permanent magnet 2 and rotor yokes 3, 4 are mounted axially on a rotary output shaft 1 to form a rotor, and rotatably supported to bearings 5, 5'. A plurality of m pieces of salient pole teeth projected radially are formed on the outer periphery of the yoke 3, a plurality of n pieces (n=mp) of salient pole teeth are formed on the yoke 4, and the outer diameter is reduced in the yoke 3. The yoke 3 is opposed to the p-phase stator main pole 6, the other yoke 4 is opposed to the yoke 8 having no winding, and n pieces of teeth are formed on the bore of the yoke 8. The teeth of the same number are opposed between the yokes 4 and 8 to improve the accuracy of a stepping angle error. |
