Sprung saddle support for motorcycles, mopeds or the like having a slide-guiding pillar which is attached in the frame pillar, having a saddle support pillar which is telescopically displaceable in the said slide-guiding pillar and secured against rotation, and having at least one spring which acts in tension, characterized in that a support part is attached to the saddle or in the upper part of the saddle support pillar, that the support part is connected at its lower end to the lower end of the spring(s) and in that the upper end of this spring(s) is attached to the upper end of the frame pillar.
