PURPOSE:To arrange in order a predetermined number of cross beams automatically to transfer them to the next process by transferring a predetermined number of cross beams taken out of an electrolytic cathode onto a compiling conveyer through a load collecting conveyer, quick feeding conveyer, etc. CONSTITUTION:Cross beams 1 are first taken out of an electrolytic cathode one by one intermittently and transferred by a returning conveyer 2. Next, after the beam 1 is pushed out orthogonally to the longitudinal direction by a hydraulic cylinder 4, the beam 1 is lowered, as it is held horizontally, by a descending conveyer 5 and transferred to a slant conveyer 6. Then, the beam 1 is laid crosswise by a correction roller 7 while being sent to a load collecting conveyer 8. Then, the beam 1 is transferred by the operation of limit switches LS2-LS6 sequentially through the load collecting conveyer 8, transfer machine 9, quick feed-conveyer 10 and compiling conveyer 11, and a predetermined number of beams 1 are arranged on the compiling conveyer 11. |
