PURPOSE:To display the processing time on an input/output terminal before a command is processed by automatically presuming the processing time using processing condition, input data volume, and inside processing information against the inputted command. CONSTITUTION:For example, when a command 'TANSAKU' (Search) is inputted from an input/output terminal 1, a command processing part 2 begins working, and the command 'TANSAKU' is developed into four basic processing units as shown in (a)-(d) by a command developing part 21. The basic processing unit (a) and (b) makes a table C from tables A and B, and the basic processing unit (c) sorts the table C with field t1 as the key. And the basic processing unit (d) searches and pick up the record of which the value of field t2 is 50. Next, the basic processing unit (a)-(d) calculate each processing time at a processing time calculation part 22 using a processing time table 24, and display the results to the terminal 1. |
