PURPOSE:To enable alarm display to the remote station available for the operator or the central station, by discriminating the cause of failure and failed part, based on the failure cause information transmitted via the transmission line from the remote station, if a failure is taken place to the remove station. CONSTITUTION:If the failure of ''power source failure'' is taken place to the remote station 12, the contact 61 in the failure cause transmitter 32 is closed. Thus, the failure cause signal of power failure is fed to the contact input unit 48 with status change detection in the failure cause reception transmitter 42 of the remote station 13 via the failure cause transmission line 52 together with the office number ''12'' and it is delivered to the central station 2 through the transmitter 49 and signal transmission cable 24. Further, the host CPU1 receives the failure cause signal and the station number ''12'' of the failed remote station 12 transmitted from the central station 2 and discrimination is made to make alarm from the failure cause alarm unit 3 and to display the failure cause and the location on the dispaly unit 4. |
