Active capacitive voltage transformer

A voltage transformer for a metal encapsulated gas-filled high-voltage switching system which supplies high accuracy test values even under varying operating conditions of the switching system comprises an active capactive voltage divider in which a cylindrical test electrode and an associated counter electrode are attached by insulating elements to a flexurally rigid cylindrical support element in spaced relationship. In addition, each electrode is attached to the same annular face of the associated insulating element which partially abuts the cylindrical support element.
