PURPOSE:To securely supply a work by arranging two sensors spaced away from each other between the upper end of a chute and a lotting device in a ball feeder, etc., and controlling the captioned device based on sensor outputs depending on a leveller output state. CONSTITUTION:A work 3 is allowed to slide on a chute 4 and traverse sensors 10, 0, and stopped at a lotting device 6, pooled between the sensor 9 and the lotting device 6 for getting ready lotting. When the work 3 is shipped at a position of the sensor 9, a signal indicative of the presence of some work at the position of the sensor 9 is issued, whereby operation of a feeder 1 is stopped. Thus, the work are lotted by means of the lotting devide 6 one at a time. The works pooled in a vessel 2 are gradually reduced by repeating the above operation, and when it is detected that a remaining work level 5 in the vessel 2 is already reduced to a prescribed value, the sensor 10 is switched in. And, after the works 3 are supplied to the sensor 10, the vessel 2 is filled with the works. With such arrangement, works can securely be supplied. |
