Gibberellin amine salts

The salt of GA4 and/or GA7 with an amine of formula R1CH2NHR2 wherein R1 is optionally substituted phenyl, thienyl or pyridyl and R2 is alkyl or alkynyl. The salts are useful in the preparation of GA4/GA7 and their separation from GA3.
