RAT HEPATIC CYTOCHROME P-450 GENE

PURPOSE:A plasmid having a specified base sequence in a region coding a rat hepatic cytochrome (P-450MC) induced by 3-methylcholanthrene. CONSTITUTION:A rat hepatic cytochrome P-450 gene having a specified base sequence in a region coding a rat hepatic cytochrome (P-450MC) induced by 3- methylchloanthrene. A plasmid pAU157 having cDNA of P-450MC has been already well known, but the base sequence of a region coding the gene is elucidated to find that the region has the base numbers of the 73rd to the 1,647th base sequence shown in the figure. The P-450MC gene can be prepared by separating a plasmid DNA from Escherichia coli having the plasmid pAU157, preparing DNA having restriction enzyme sites at both ends of the P-450MC gene with the plasmid DNA, and cleaving the resultant plasmid DNA with a restriction enzyme.
