<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the device, long in the life of durability and inexpensive in the cost thereof, by a method wherein the heat value of remaining hot-water is operated from the detecting temperature of a temperature sensor by employing a temperature gradient in a predetermined boundary between the layers of hotwater and water as a constant. CONSTITUTION:The device is consisting of a plurality of temperature sensors 5-9, attached to the wall surface of a hot-water reserving tank 1, and an operating unit 10, operating the heat value if remaining hot-water by the detecting temperatures of the temperature sensors 5-9 and the temperature gradient in the boundary between the layers of hot-water and water. The remaining hotwater in the tank 1 and newly supplied water are constituted of an upper layer of VH liter, a lower layer of VW liter and a mixed layer of VM liter. In case the detecting temperature of the temperature sensor S15 is shown by TH deg.C, the detecting temperatures of the temperatures sensors S3, S4, S5, 7, 8, 9 are shown by TW deg.C and the temperature gradient in the mixed layer is shown by alpha, the heat value of the remaining hot-water in the upper layer K1kcal can be obtained by K1=VHXTH-TW kcal and the heat value K2 kcal of remaining hot-water in the mixed layer can be obtained by K2=1/2XalphaXTH-TW kcal. Therefore, the heat value KZ kcal of remaining hot-water can be calculated by KZ= K1+K2 kcal. All of these operations are effected in the operating unit 10.</p> |
