INSULATOR FOR VITAL RELAY PLUGBOARD A new insulator for use with a relay plugboard is provided which facilitates more efficient assembly by the elimination of a part and a requirement for special assembly tools. The insulator is inserted into a cavity, or cell, in a plugboard from one side thereof and an integral spring beam latch on the insulator secures the insulator to the plugboard. The insulator may be removed without the use of special tools. With the insulator secured in position, a terminal may be inserted on each side of the insulator and from the other side of the plugboard. The terminal and the insulator look together in the plugboard. The terminal includes a tapered form to facilitate insertion.
