PURPOSE:To prevent a developed image from bleeding during storage by forming on a support a photosensitive layer contg. aspecified diazo compd., and one or more of three coupling components of a novolak type phenol resin and two kinds of phenol derivs. CONSTITUTION:The binary diazo copying material prevented from bleeding of the image developed with an alkaline org. solvent type developing soln. during storage due to a minute amt. of remaining alkaline component is obtained by forming on a support or on a precoat layer formed on the support the binary type diazo photosensitive layer contg. a diazo compd. represented by formula I, R<1>, R<2> being 1-5C alkyl, X being an anion, and one or more of three kinds of coupling components represented by a novolak type phenol resin having repeating units each represented by formula II (R<3>, R<4> being H or 1-4C alkyl, R<5>, R<6>, R<7> being H, halogen, OH, NO2, NH2 COOH, or its salt, SO3H or its salt, 1-20C chain hydrocarbon or 4-14C cyclic hydrocarbon), and two phenol derivs. represented by formulae III, IV, R<8> being 5-20C alkyl, R<9> being >=5C alkyl. |
