PURPOSE:To contrive to detect quantitatively and continuously the location of high temperature burning condition area by a method wherein the condition of a burning part in a furnace is picked up by a television camera, the region of burning condition having a blue wave length or having a wave length shorter than the blue wave length is extracted. CONSTITUTION:A window 84 is provided on the furnace wall of an incinerator 1, an industrial color television 35 is arranged at the location where the optical control axis 85 of the camera is set at nearby the border part between a burning upper stage grate 5 and a burning lower stage grate 6, and the camera picks up the burning part in the incinerator 1. A video signal 31 from the television camera 35 is processed by a video processing device 36 via a line 50. Signals of a blue wave length and a part of a shorter wave length than the blue wave length are separated from a video signal S1. When only the signal exceeding the designated threshold value T1 is regenerated by a monitor television, the video 93, 94 extracting a high temperature burning part flame can be obtained. Therefore, the location of the high temperature burning region in the incinerator 1 can be detected by obtaining the location of the video 93, 94 in the incinerator 1. |
