<p>PURPOSE:To securely protect data of a memory pack by inserting a memory pack, detecting a voltage condition of the back-up power source and informing a user each time the memory pack is used. CONSTITUTION:When one side of a pair of RAM cards is equipped with a slot of a movable contact point (a) of a confirming switch 12a is connected to a fixed contact point (b) and a signal of one level is supplied to an AND circuit 13a. Next, the movable contact point (a) of a lock switch 7a is connected to the fixed contact point (b), the contact point (a) becomes 0 level and output of the circuit 13a is prohibited. In correspondence to this action, a voltage Va of a built-in battery of the RAM cards is compared with a reference voltage Vs. When Va is lower than Vs, a detection signal or one level is outputted from the circuit 13a. On the other hand, when the switch 7a is changed over to release the lock of RAM cards, the contact point (a) is connected to a contact point (c), a voltage reduction detecting signal is supplied through an OR circuit 14 to a buzzer 15 and reduction of a voltage is informed. The same action is also executed at the other side RAM card.</p> |
