PURPOSE:To prevent misfeed, by setting a vacuum suction conveyer above a movable tray, as setting a nozzle which faces to the edge of the sheets and can be swayed freely upward/downward, between the said tray and the vacuum suction conveyer, in a sheet conveying device of such as a copying machine. CONSTITUTION:Even if a stepped part B is made at the border-line A4 between the upper sheets A2 and the lower sheets A3, when a sheet conveying device is re-driven after an interval, the sheets can be conveyed one by one, by blowing air sufficiently against the edge A' of the upper/lower sheets A of the stepped part B through a nozzle 3 which is swayed upward/downward, floating these sheets, and sucking and conveying the sheets by a vacuum suction conveying system. In this way, a misfeed can be prevented. |
