PURPOSE:To provide an alloy having an excellent bearing property by a method wherein a Cu-Sn based sintered alloy includes a specific amount of P having a large reactivity with a solid lubricant such as MoS2 or WS2 and a pressurized powder is sintered in a specific condition. CONSTITUTION:A pressurized powder body is formed of a mixed powder of a base material consisting of 8-11wt% of Sn, 0.2-1.7wt% of P, at least one of 1.1- 11wt% of MoS2 and 1.7-17wt% of WS2 (and a total of 17wt% or less) both being solid lubricant 20-80mum in average size, the remaining Cu, and unavoidable impurities. The powder body is sintered at 650-750 deg.C for 10-30min to provide a Cu- Sn sintered alloy capable of producing an oil-containing bearing having excellent bearing properties in low-load and high-speed range. The alloy may includes at least one element selected from graphite: 0.2-0.8wt%, Fe:0.1-1wt%, Pb:0.5-5wt%, and Zn:0.5-5wt%. |
