PURPOSE:An acaricide ford agricultural and horticultural purpose that contains a combination of hexakis(beta,beta-dimethylphenethyl)distannnoxane (an acaricide against tetrachynids living in plants) with a phthalic acid diester, thus increasing the acaricidal effect of the former. CONSTITUTION:(A) 1pt.wt. of hexakis(beta,beta-dimethylphenethyl)distannoxane is combined with 0.5-3pts.wt., preferably 1-2pts.wt. of a phthalic acid diester of the formula (R, R' are straight-chain or branched saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon group of 8 or less carbon atoms). The use of only component A is unsatisfactory in acaricidal effect, while only B has no acaricidal effect. But, their combination develops acaricidal effect enough to control tetranychids satisfactorily. |
